Job Brief

The position of Sales Representative is primarily tasked with setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.

Responsibilities

1. Nurturing existing customer relationships and developing relationships with potential customers within a specific territory.

2. Manage displays, samples, and sell tools for customer availability.

3. Assist customers by providing knowledge and training the company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present products and negotiate well with customers.

4. Quota prices discuss credit terms and prepare sales contracts for customer orders.

5. Estimate the date of delivery to the customer based on the understanding of the company’s delivery schedules.

6. Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers.

7. Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, and brochures to broaden reach in the territory and promote company products.

8. Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information.

9. Investigate and resolve customer claims /problems with deliveries, returns, and credits.

10. Attend trade shows throughout the year as required.

11. Travel 50% locally, occasionally nationally, and /or internationally.

12. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.

2. At least 5 years of experience in sales management of a related industry.

3. Proven track record of success and the sales cycle from plan to close.

4. Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

5. Have strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and exceptional customer service skills with the ability to pay attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reporting skills, and ability to analyze Information.

7. Must be able to work without direct supervision.

8. High level of Integrity.

9. Proven success rate at levels above quotas.

10. Must be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills.
