Questions Often Asked

Why do Linnstone stone surfaces vary in colour and pattern?
Linnstone uses superior minerals and recycled materials as its main raw materials. Variations in color, pattern, size, shape, and gloss of the stone are the unique features inherent in this product. This has no bearing on the performance of the product. Many products are intended to have colour blotches to enhance their natural beauty.
How should Linnstone stone surfaces be supported?
Linnstone quartz and the Zulitestone Crystalline Silica Free Surfaces are not intended as structural supports. Linnstone stone surfaces with thicknesses of 2 or 3 cm are only suitable for benchtops and must be supported. Linnstone stone surfaces with less than 2 cm thickness are used for surface finishes such as walls, tub and shower surrounds. Horizontal applications, such as tub decks, require full support.
What factors should be considered when installing Linnstone stone surfaces?
Linnstone quartz and Zulitestone Crystalline Silica Free Surfaces installation are most effective when the walls and cabinets are properly prepared. This includes, but is not limited to, structurally sound walls and cabinets that are straight, level, and square. Not having this might lead to poor benchtop overhang and placement, as well as poor installation and seam fit.
